Rotational Testing Systems
Give it a good turn .!
We offer Rotating Systems from our principal company M/s Pruftechnik NDT GmbH, Germany and they are the most ideal system selection when the target is to find longitudinal defects on tube, bar or wire. Unlike standard coils that move parallel to the defect, the probes in the rotating system spin around the test piece, crossing a longitudinal defect multiple times, thereby delivering a very accurate picture of defect characteristics. With the precision provided by the lift-off compensation system, which accounts for variations in the gap between the probes and test material, the rotating system represents an extremely reliable method for defect detection.
We offer a series of rotating systems to cover a wide range of diameters. They are particularly easy to operate and maintain and are extremely robust to withstand the industrial environment. Precise test piece guidance and a lift-off compensation system ensure accurate test results.

The rotating system is designed specifically to identify longitudinal, homogenous cracks and fissures found at the surface of the test piece. It is used for products that have a tendency to show longitudinal defects but do not have seam welds. Quite often, differential encircling coil system (whose target is the short, transverse defects) is used in conjunction with a rotating system to achieve a comprehensive testing strategy.
