Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is a very popular method for component testing in the automotive industry and a no - of applications in the steel and other industry segments. One of the most important pre-requisite in this testing technique is the requirement for a consistent, good quality inspection medium. Also, important are the use of standard make MPI systems/benches, qualified manpower and to carry out tests, as per standards.

Depending upon contrast generation (UV, Daylight, UV + Daylight), application methods (Dry, Wet process), testing standards and application needs, we offer a very wide range of media to our customers.

In the wet testing method, use of water based inspection media has gained lot of ground and we have helped many of our customers to successfully shift from kerosene/oil based media to these simple, easy to use water based formulas. Water is easily available, cheaper than kerosene or oil, easy to handle, store and dispose, no smell, no allergy reactions to operators and poses no fire hazards in a customer's plant !
FLUXA water based media is available in one and five liter concentrates, which only needs to be mixed with water in a specified ratio. The concentrates already have the required amount of Anti corrosion, Wetting agent, Anti foam and special additives in it. Inspection media delivered to a customer are cleared in line with protocols defined in the EN ISO 9001, Fluorescence co-efficient as per DIN54 132, corrosion tests as per DIN51 360 Part 2, Powder concentration/sedimentation tests as per ASM 3044/ASTM D 96, tests pertaining to pH value, surface tension, foaminess and other properties.
